The work was born from a collaboration with RINED (Research Institute for Neuroscience, Education, and Didactics in Assisi), reprocessing data obtained from electroencephalogram (EEG) recordings I underwent during an experiment. The data from which the video and canvas works were derived concern the electrophysiological activity of the brain during the processing of different types of sensory stimuli. The experiment consisted of three phases, precisely transposed into the triptych: response to a visual stimulus (without sound), response to a sound stimulus constructed according to the criterion of consonance, and finally, response to a sound stimulus constructed according to the criteria of dissonance. The collected data were translated into numerical sequences, then processed by software that translated them into shapes.
