Codex was presented in the group exhibition curated by Lorenzo Fiorucci at CasermArcheologica, Sansepolcro, in 2019. The work originates from a CT scan of my own body. The data obtained from the scan were transcribed into numerical sequences and processed through Pitagora, a system I developed to translate numerical structures into visual patterns. The resulting forms became a video and two acrylic paintings, installed within a room conceived as a cerebral space. During the video projection, the sounds recorded from the CT scanner were also reproduced, bringing the physical experience of the examination back into the exhibition space.
